藏经楼的设立，代表“僧宝”的佛光山教团，“法宝”的藏经楼与“佛宝”的佛陀纪念馆，由佛光大道串联起来，整个佛光山是“佛、法、僧”三宝具足。佛如光、法如水、僧如田，祈愿每位来访者，皆能获得法水的滋润，智慧如海。本馆展示分为四大区域，自性三宝佛·法·僧：介绍佛光山“佛法僧”三宝俱全（本山、藏经楼、佛陀纪念馆）；佛性：描述大师性格思想，以单点独立展示方式呈现大师个人特质与想法；星云学说：以满义法师所著《星云学说与实践》为展示架构；佛足迹：描述大师一生行脚天下，主要以呈现大师一生行佛中的贫困经历与苦行精神。

At Fo Guang Shan, the Sutra Repository, the Buddha Memorial Center, and the monastery together represent the Three Jewels of Buddhism: Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. The Buddha is like light, the Dharma like water, and the Sangha like fertile fields-nourishing visitors with wisdom and compassion. The exhibition has four sections: the Three Jewels of Fo Guang Shan; the Master’s personality and thoughts; Hsing Yun’s teaching; and the Master’s lifelong journey of hardship and practice.
