展场内以【重回莫拉克-沉浸式剧场】让观众身历其境回到2009年8月8日「莫拉克台风」发生的那一天,再带领观众了解灾难的救援及抚慰工作、重建工程的新思维及其中所发生的点滴故事。展场内设置七组大型互动教具,让观众经由动手操作认识台风的原理、复合型灾害、及防灾科学的重要性;同时也设置延伸知识阅读区,提供与天然灾害相关的书籍及影片,让有兴趣的观众能进一步深入学习。
Inside the exhibition, the “Return to Morakot - Immersive Theater” takes visitors back to August 8, 2009, the day Typhoon Morakot struck. From there, visitors learn about the rescue and relief efforts, new approaches to reconstruction, and the many stories that emerged during the process. The hall features seven large interactive installations where visitors can experiences hands-on learning about the principles of typhoons, compound disasters, and the importance of disaster prevention science. A reading and media area also offers books and films on natural disasters, allowing those interested to explore the topic in greater depth.
