台湾历史博物馆展示教育大楼为4层楼的空间，分为常设展、儿童厅、剧场及特展。位于展示大楼2楼的「台湾的故事」展厅，立足于多元诠释的历史观，以历史的时间轴序列，穿越割裂的统治政权，表现台湾的文化与生活。同时希望能以这一块土地为舞台，透过四季的时序变化，及由大海向内陆开展的空间，以「人」为主角，建构台湾长时间、多民族与自然环境互动的历程，展现土地与人民的历史真貌。

The Taiwan History Museum’s Education and Exhibition Building has four floors, featuring permanent exhibitions, a children’s gallery, a theater, and special exhibitions. On the second floor, the “Story of Taiwan” gallery presents a multi-perspective view of history. Using a chronological timeline, it moves across different ruling regimes to showcase Taiwan’s culture and daily life. The exhibition also uses the land itself as a stage: showing the cycle of the four seasons and the expansion from the sea to the inland. With people at the center, it illustrates Taiwan’s long history of interaction between diverse ethnic groups and the natural environment, revealing the true story of the land and it people.
