Since the Age of Exploration in the 15th and 16th centuries, waves of global migration began to take shape. At that time, China was facing political turmoil and economic instability, leading many Hakka people to sail east to Taiwan to settle and cultivate the land. Over the centuries, the Hakka community took root in Taiwan, carrying with them the traditions of their homeland while drawing nourishment from this new land, giving rise to a diverse and vibrant Hakka culture in Taiwan.

透过苗栗园区常设展，首度将客家文化中各具特色之语言、建筑、产业、工艺、音乐及饮食等面向的文化内涵，配合生动的影音及多媒体互动展示手法，精彩呈现！

Through the permanent exhibition at the Miaoli Park, Hakka culture is presented in all its richness-language, architecture, industry, craftsmanship, music, and cuisine will be presented with vivid audio-visual and multimedia interactive display techniques, presenting them brilliantly!
